28 Apr Top 10 WooCommerce Plugins
The standard WooCommerce plugin for WordPress comes with many features that are absolutely free. On its own, however, WooCommerce can fall a bit short when it comes to more advanced features like subscriptions, gift cards and inventory management.
Thankfully, we’ve curated a list of our top 10 favorite plugins that can help take your ecommerce website to the next level!
10. WooCommerce One Page Checkout
Do you want to simplify the checkout experience on your ecommerce site? A one page checkout experience might be just the solution! Instead of the three step checkout process that’s customary of most online stores (Add to cart > Shopping Cart > Checkout), this extension enables your customers to do everything from a single page! We don’t recommend this functionality for all of our clients, but it can be quite useful if you’re trying to promote a specific product bundle or service and want to streamline the checkout experience.
9. Wholesale for woocommerce
Osffer unique discounts and incentives for their wholesale customers separately from their retail customers. The Wholesale for WooCommerce extension enables you to do just that! Once registered, wholesalers will unlock a different view of your store with discounts and incentives unique to them. Additionally, you can create tiered discounts based on the number of products your wholesalers add to their cart or based on the total cart value.
8. Affiliate for WooCommerce
Want to create affiliate campaigns and incentives to help promote your products and services? Affiliate For WooCommerce lets you manage all of your affiliates and marketing campaigns from one place. Moreover, each of your affiliates will have their own user friendly dashboard to track their referrals, commissions and payouts! They’ll even be able to generate and customize their own unique affiliate link to share in their outreach to prospective customers.
7. User Switching
Oftentimes a customer may need help navigating their account, checking the status of their order or adjusting the frequency of their subscription. But it can be a real challenge to help you customers if you can’t see what they’re seeing. The User Switching extension is here to save the day! Using this extension, you can instantly switch between user accounts to see exactly what your customers are seeing and where they might be encountering trouble.
6&5. WooCommerce Subscritpions + All products for Subscriptions
One of the top features our clients ask for is giving customers the option to subscribe to a product or service, in addition to making just a one-time purchase. Unfortunately, WooCommerce doesn’t offer this functionality without the extensions linked above. The first extension, WooCommerce Subscriptions, enables your store to have subscriptions, but you also need All Products for Subscriptions to give customers the choice between a one-time purchase or a subscription purchase on the same product page. That’s why we recommend getting both of these at the same time! Subscriptions are a great way to incentivize your customers to make recurring purchases with percentage discounts for doing so. These plugins also allow customers to adjust the frequency or even pause their subscription.
4. Atum inventory management
Inventory management with WooCommerce can be a very manual and tedious process, which requires you to edit individual products one at a time. Thankfully, ATUM Inventory Management is a free plugin that makes updating inventory and prices so much simpler! This extension creates a user-friendly dashboard that lists out all of your products on one page, and allows you to easily edit prices and current inventory with the click of a button.
